Finding a way through the FRUSTRATION

So I went to the doctor who I’ve been working with since my accident. The pain has worsened, my hands are drawing in, spasms in my arms, wrists, hands, legs…just everywhere in general including my back. Places I’ve never had problems are presenting themselves with fury. It feels so brutal.   Cry  My Dr. told me that he’s done all he knows to do and we’ll just have to keep playing around with the meds to give me relief. “It’s the fibromyalgia along with the myofascial pain disease in full force. You’ll need to walk more, get the heart pumping and metabolize the biochemicals and toxins from the muscles and bloodstream.”

I’m thinking, walk more?   Frown  It’s all I can do to make the choices I am now. I walk every day. When I hurt, I motivate myself to move. The pain to me is and indicator to get moving because I do feel better. My pain levels go down 1 or 2 numbers on the “rate your pain” scale. Although the pain is more manageable, I feel exhausted when I’m done. So how can I possibly do any more?  Undecided

I start Public Speaking class Friday. I don’t care how bad I feel or what I have to do to make these classes, I WILL find a way. If they have to bring in a hospital bed and put it at the back of the class and run IV’s through my veins, I’ll do it! This is prompting me to study more on my condition. I hope to find something. Soon.

Comforting you

There's nothing more exhausting than chronic pain.

My heart goes out to you, and I admire

your spunk in the midst of your pain.

I wish you well, and perhaps a route

out of your suffering, a small distinction

that brings you relief!

I want you to know that you have been and are continually an inspiration to me.  Your ability to keep fighting, your emotional resilience and dogged attitude are beyond what anyone would expect from your situation.

The victory is yours and I thank you for showing us all how this fight is won.
